Connecting Your Store & API Configuration
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on authenticating your WooCommerce store and preparing your API for seamless merchant connectivity.
What You Will Need
After installing and activating the Importify Supplier plugin on WordPress, you will need the following credential to link your store to our network:
- Account API Key: This key is required to securely connect your WooCommerce store with Importify.
Credentials to Share with Your Merchants
To import products directly from you, your direct B2B merchants will require two specific pieces of information from your dashboard:
- Supplier ID: A unique identifier formatted similarly to:

Where to find them: Both your Supplier ID and Supplier API Endpoint are readily available on your Account page or directly within the Importify Supplier plugin dashboard on your WordPress site.
Credentials to Keep Private
To maintain the security of your store, please be mindful of what you should never share with external parties:
- Account API Key: Keep this key strictly private. It is used exclusively to authenticate the connection between your backend WooCommerce store and Importify. Merchants do not need this to access your products.
Marketplace Exceptions
If you choose to distribute your products by enabling the Importify Marketplace, individual merchant setup is entirely hands-off:
- No Credentials Required: You do not need to share your Supplier ID or Supplier API Endpoint with anyone. Merchants browsing the marketplace can discover and connect to your products automatically without any manual credential exchanges.
